Jones Sustainable Packaging’s innovative insulations are engineered with a variety of fiber combinations to meet specific performance objectives targeting thermal and impact protection. The fiber combinations have unique sustainability advantages ranging from reduction to reuse and recyclability. Using advanced fiber formation technologies allows us to produce our thermally bonded nonwovens with natural plant-based fibers including Cotton, Jute, pre-consumer upcycled textile by-products, recycled synthetic 100% polyester and biodegradable plant-based thermoplastic polyester or PLA.
Our low environmental impact features are real and not just greenwash. We have four insulations certified for bio-content with the USDA BioPreferred program. The USDA BioPreferred program promotes commercial use and mandates government use of bio-based products. Validated by third party lab evaluation, these insulations exceed the program's minimum bio-content with 88% to 99% of the fiber blend composed of natural plant-based fiber. While a market leading position, we’re not satisfied; we are committed to expanding the use of renewable plant-based fibers to protect the environment for future generations.
If your needs include turnkey sustainable packaging, our insulations are available converted, encapsulated and kitted from EcoFiber Packaging.
