Cotton Batting

Cotton batting is the simplest form of textile padding for the mattress and furniture markets. Jones uses its ability to card (a textile process that cleans and aligns fibers) lower-grade cotton fiber into unbonded batting. This batting allows the manufacturer to use as much or as little padding as needed, as well as the ability to “feather” the padding into seamless junctions with the piece of furniture.
